March’s The Sunday Currently, where I talk about the books I’m reading, skin care products I’m obsessing over, and being mentally elsewhere.
This month, I made sure to squeeze in at least 30 minutes of reading time every morning. It’s a great way to warm up and start the day right!
I’m feeling out of sorts so I picked up two inspirational books on my TBR pile: Elizabeth Gilbert’s Big Magic and Chicken Soup for the Soul: Inspiration for Writers. I’m also going through Lonely Planet’s Ultimate Travelist.
Content plans, personal dreams, blog entries
Laurel’s Life Worth Living. I don’t relate to the lyrics but the mood of the song fits how I’m feeling these days.
Of the things I need to accomplish tomorrow. I don’t know how to play chess, but I imagine it’s how I go through most of my days: playing along, setting up my pieces, but always looking ahead to my next move.
YSL Parisienne, my signature scent
For hibernation and digital detox… Which is absolutely impossible, given that I need to stay connected all the time
I can whisk myself somewhere. I guess one of the drawbacks of constantly reading and writing about other places is that I’ll always be craving of a somewhere else.
Frustration, anxiety, and a bit of sadness.
But you’ll never know until you read that line.
Sheet masks! A friend gifted me with a sheet mask from Sephora and I treated myself to it after several weeks of hormonal acne. The result? A smoother, softer, and brighter skin. I’m now doing a weekly mask but with Tony Moly and Watsons brands instead of Sephora. So far, so good.
A vacation somewhere in July or August. I’m tempted to book right now because of all the airfare promos but I have to wait it out, at least until I’m sure I have another client signed.
To get out of this rut
Like I should stop keeping my hopes up but I still have my hopes up
Tons of reviews about skin care products. I’m on the hunt for gentle, alcohol-free toner and oil-free moisturiser, so if you have any recommendations, feel free to send them my way! I’m also obsessed over the idea of incorporating rosehip oil into my routine so I can get rid of some pityriasis rosea scars left behind on my thighs.
