Oh hey, look who’s back! 😉
I’m occasionally going through one of my favourites, Samantha Sotto’s Before Ever After. Recently, I successfully got a copy of Chris Cleave’s Everybody Brave is Forgiven and I can’t wait to delve into it!
This week’s blog posts. I’m attempting to get back on track after two months of focusing my creative energy on work!
An uber moody track from Kaleo.
About how the term “dream job” is a total BS. It’s been brewing for quite awhile and I’m still trying to weave my thoughts on this one but I hope to get the words out properly soon.
For a short trip somewhere. I was initially planning to go to Singapore or Hong Kong in August but it looks like my financial state won’t let me. I didn’t go anywhere fun this summer and it’s been six months since my last trip so my wanderlust is at an all-time high. I’m dreaming of just relaxing at the beach, getting a tan and losing myself in a good book. Le sigh.
To find the right opportunities and the right connections. There’s not much room for socializing when you’re cooped up working at home most of the time. I can’t help but wonder if I’ll ever meet new people outside of the circle I have now. Not that there’s anything wrong with them, but making new friends or meeting other like-minded people is definitely harder now.

Apple products and the way they seamlessly work together. I’ve been on a MacBook Air for a little over a year now and while I’ve been a solid Android user for a few years, I finally switched to iOS after signing up for a new postpaid plan. #adulting
Oh, and a special mention this snack from my childhood. 7-11 recently brought it back and I couldn’t be any happier!
To go shopping for a new wardrobe. Which is, to be honest, unnecessary because I probably leave the house a maximum of ten times a month. I’m still hoping to find a look that will marry my freelance wayfaring ways and my former fashionista PR self. Classic, casual chic.
More energy to create. Not just create for work but create for myself.
I need to learn how to distinguish my work voice from my personal voice, but it’s more challenging now when something I’m passionate about has turned into something that also pays the bills.
Positive! I’m not where I want to be but I will get there in time.
Creative Market‘s Fonts section. I know I should stick to a blog header and forever live with it as part of my blog’s identity, but I still can’t seem to find ~the one~.
